Day 1 and Day 2 on Virtual Book Tour 07/06/2010
Have you ever sat to watch paint dry? Neither have I, but I'm sure that it feels something like what I'm feeling now. I worked for weeks preparing content, answering questions, and a day recording videos. Now, I'm waiting. What am I waiting on? I want to scream buy, BUY. But that's rude. (smile) So, let's consider that question further. I want:

I have three great announcements:
Tomorrow is the day. Bum...bum...bum... (I hope you can hear my soundtrack.) I gave advance reader copies of Black Diamond to the members of RAWSISTAZ. Tomorrow I will chat with the readers throughout the day. I must admit...I'm nervous. My mind is swirling with a million "what if" questions... This situation is much like waiting on book reviews because you can't just shoot an email and ask..."hum...how do you like it?" **laughing** I have to wait. I want to know if they like my characters. What did they think of the relationships? Did the suspense hold them? Did they predict the ending? Would they buy another Ja'Nese Dixon book? In return, I have to prepare for their responses. I am ready. And I hope that you will pop in and lend your support by posting a comment or two throughout the day. ![]() Black Book Chat with JaNese Dixon 03/30/2010
My chat is today. I will pop in and out of the post through out the day. Ask questions, leave comments, interact with readers. I can't wait to read your comments. Visit Post NowDid you miss the free download? If so, send me a message. Black Diamond: Prequel FEATURED on RAWSISTAZ 03/13/2010
![]() I am jumping up and down like a nut. I can't believe my ebook prequel to Black Diamond is a feature on RAWSISTAZ 8 Week eBook Reading Challenge. The Reading and Writing SISTAZ (R.A.W. SISTAZ) Literary Group was founded by Tee C. Royal in September 2000 and focuses on reading, writing, and discussing books primarily by African American Authors. We read three books a month (one is optional) as a group: the Book of the Month (BOM), an “Ole-school” book and an alternate book. Members vote via an online poll, the alternate book is selected by the founder. We usually have an online chat with the author of the BOM to further discuss the book and even offer other author chats on most Tuesday nights of the month. See the Chat Room schedule for more information. Here's a repost of the details: For Read An E-Book Week, we put the call out and received quite a few responses from African-American Authors. They are offering the e-books below (for a limited time) FREE OF CHARGE here on our site in honor of Read an E-Book Week and to help us kick off of our 8 Week E-Book Reading Challenge. They will then join us throughout the next 8 weeks for one of our popular Black Book Chats where we will discuss the book with members and site guests. E-BOOK READING LIST
