I am busy writing, I'm working with a new accountability group and boy oh boy do I find myself cranking out the words. As I posted last month, I hoped to see my stories place in more than one category. Well, I noticed today that Caramel Surprise is placing in the Kindle Top 100 in three (3) categories. Yeah!!!

Kindle changes every hour. But I decided to mozy (misp?) on over there. I found out Caramel Surprise is in the Top 100 books in Multicultural Romance. Yeah!

Camille Blackwell is an undercover FBI agent posing as a jewelry purchaser in an international diamond trading company. Her assignment is to identify the domestic players in the Imperial Dynasty—an international terrorist group suspected of trafficking conflict diamond.

Before Black Diamond is a collection of short stories about a few of the key characters in Black Diamond. Each story will take you from the CEO of an international to a young African boy who faces danger at the hands of terrorists to protect his family.

Readers will meet the characters before they were left with no choice but to do what they had to do, leaving dead bodies and a half million dollars unaccounted for.

Writing is a self-generating process. Once you start, it takes on this magnetic life of its own.

I started writing Black Diamond, actually that not totally true, I started writing Intoxicated, which lead to Black Diamond and now I've finished my first short story slated for publication titled Caramel Surprise. (YEAH!)

Caramel Surprise is a romance short story about Sandra James, owner of a quaint coffee shop in Houston, Texas. Sandra is going through "the change" -- not menopause -- when you look around and notice that your life is not quite what you thought it would be. She has a wonderful business, however, she believes it's missing something. She will enlist the help of her best friends to fill the void in her otherwise perfect life.

Back to the think tank I go. Remember,  "Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. It means that you've decided to look beyond the imperfections.” (unknown author)
