I know it's been extremely quiet here. I'm writing and traveling quite a bit. I have the kiddos running around and it's only June! (smile) I've had events in three cities for the past couple of weeks. My car and I have rolled nearly 1500 miles all for the sake of Black Diamond. And I believe its worth it...don't you?
This weekend will be yet another city and another event. We will be in Austin, Texas at the Austin African American Book Festival AND you can catch me online on the author's panel at SORMAG's 2nd Annual Online Book Fair. So, I will be talking with readers, signing books, and chatting with readers and writers online.

I think the title says it all. Releasing two books back-to-back is insane. I think I can effectively hold a conversation in my sleep. (smile) But there is so much more to do.
This weekend I'm kicking off a Juneteenth parade in Austin, TX. I've also be asked to speak on camera. I'm crossing my fingers hoping that the clip will be used during the evening news.
Then next week, let the game's begin. It's the official countdown to the Black Diamond release.
